Libya’s House of Representatives and High Council of State have called on the international community to provide independent observers to monitor the upcoming general elections on December 24.
In a joint statement following their meeting in Rabat, representatives from both bodies underscored the need to hold the elections on time in order for Libya to “transition into a phase of sustainability and stability”.
