The official spokesman for the House of Representatives, Abdullah Blihaq, denied the accuracy of the figure mistakenly included in the Central Bank of Libya’s report concerning the House’s expenditures for the period from January 1 to August 31, 2025, which amounted to 644,903,295.622 million Libyan Dinars.
Blihaq explained that the figure was the result of a typographical error and was corrected in communication with the management of the Central Bank of Libya.
The spokesman asserted that this figure was published by some websites and pages in an attempt to tarnish the House’s image in public opinion.
Blihaq called on all media institutions and specialists to verify the accuracy of information before publishing it to avoid misleading the public.
