UN Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, has reiterated the critical need to preserve dialogue and avoid any provocative rhetoric, as she stated after meeting with deputies from Western Libya.
“Yesterday I met with a group of members of the House of Representatives from several cities in western Libya,” Williams tweeted on Sunday.
“They expressed their concerns about the impact of a possible political crisis on the stability of the country and presented their proposals on the way forward,” she added.
“I reiterated the critical need to preserve dialogue and avoid any provocative rhetoric that may compromise the calm on the ground and the progress achieved in the intra-Libyan dialogue,” according to UN Adviser.
