Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky urged on Sunday foreigners to head to Ukrainian embassies worldwide to sign up for an “international brigade” of volunteers to help fight Russian forces.
“This will be the key evidence of your support for our country,” Zelensky said in a statement.
Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba tweeted that foreigners willing to join the volunteer army in defending Ukraine must contact diplomatic missions of Ukraine in their respective countries.
