Member of the Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Committee (JMC), Al-Hadi Al-Fallah, said the team of international observers who arrived in Libya in accordance with the Geneva Agreement is made up of 10 civilians, in charge of monitoring mercenaries’ exit from the country.
“According to the agreement, they will work with a team of national observers of JMC,” Al-Fallah said in press statements.
The team’s work will be to determine the locations of the mercenaries’ exit and monitor their exit according to specific percentages from both parties, ensuring that they do not return again or any party breaches its obligation to expel the mercenaries from its side, he explained.
“We determined the mechanism for the exit of mercenaries, set broad lines, and set a confirmed date,” JMC member added.
“We will hold a meeting with a number of African countries that have mercenaries in Libya to agree on precise dates, and the meeting will be within two weeks,” Al-Fallah pointed out.
