The International Organization for Migration (IOM) assisted on Wednesday 158 Nigerian migrants to voluntarily return to Nigeria on the second Voluntary Humanitarian Return flight from Benghazi since the resumption of the VHR program.
Onboard the evacuation flight were 105 women and 53 men. There were 17 migrants with medical conditions, according to IOM.
The migrants received health-checks and counselling services, as well as protection screening from relevant IOM units, said the Organization.
