The High National Elections Commission opened its Counting and Statistics Center in Tripoli on Monday. The center’s opening marks the start of collecting ballot result forms. The forms come from nine municipal councils in the third group, including Benghazi.
The Commission reported receiving the result forms within hours of the center opening. These forms are from municipalities that held elections on Saturday. The delivery process followed all approved transport procedures.
The center’s team has begun matching and reviewing the data. This work is supervised by the Systems and Information Department. Preliminary results will be announced after the technical audit is complete.
The Commission emphasized that the counting process meets the highest standards. It is conducted with transparency and accuracy. Accredited observers and media representatives are present. This protects the will of the voters and builds trust in the electoral process.
