Launch of the electrical network development project in the Southern District in Tolmeitha

Tolmeitha – The implementation of a project to develop the electricity grid has begun. This project is in the Southern District of Tolmeitha. Tolmeitha is part of Al-Sahel Municipality in Jabal al-Akhdar. The project receives full support from the Reconstruction and Development Fund of Libya. It is directly supervised by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energies. This initiative aims to address weak current and frequent power outages. Residents have suffered from these issues for years.

Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energies Awad Al-Badri visited Tolmeitha recently. He met with residents of the Southern District. The minister listened to their complaints. These complaints concerned the weak electricity grid. They also reported repeated power outages. These problems caused significant difficulties for the locals. They directly impacted their daily lives. Basic services in the area were also affected.

During his visit, the minister affirmed the ministry’s commitment. The ministry places special importance on electricity grid stability. He emphasized that no effort would be spared. They will address existing problems radically. This will be done in coordination with supporting bodies. The Reconstruction and Development Fund of Libya is a key partner. This ensures practical and sustainable solutions for citizens.

Project materials and equipment have arrived. Fieldwork has now commenced. Residents of Tolmeitha’s Southern District expressed great relief. They confirmed the project is a genuine response. It addresses their long suffering from weak current. It also addresses frequent power outages. They extended their gratitude to the Reconstruction and Development Fund of Libya. They also thanked the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energies. This was for their swift response and project implementation.
