Benghazi – Reception and preparation activities have begun for 80 pilgrims. This is part of the fourth season of the ‘Volunteer Pilgrim’ program. The program is sponsored by Major General Saddam Haftar. He is the Deputy Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces. It is directly supervised by the Secretary-General of the Libyan Red Crescent.
The program launched last Sunday. It aims to honor Libyan Red Crescent volunteers. This acknowledges their continuous contributions and efforts. These efforts are in humanitarian fields. It also grants them the opportunity to perform Umrah rites. This is a special spiritual journey. It demonstrates values of gratitude and appreciation.
