Libya, as representative of the Arab Maghreb Union, took part on Saturday in a virtual meeting of the African Union Bureau and Heads of Regional Economic Communities.
According to a statement by the Libyan foreign ministry, interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues including an upcoming summit between the A.U. and the European Union and combatting COVID-19 in Africa.
They also reviewed an assessment report of the political situation for peace and security in the African continent.
