Tripoli – The first training course under the “Sputnik Pro” project launched in Libya. It is organized by the international news agency and Sputnik Radio.
The course targeted students and faculty members from Tripoli University. Its goal is to enhance AI usage skills in journalism and media.
Yazan Ajouz delivered lectures. He is the editor-in-chief of Sputnik Agency’s Arabic section. Wassim Suleiman, also editor-in-chief of the agency’s Arabic section, contributed. Their lectures focused on applying AI tools in editorial processes. These processes include news production and data analysis. Working with multimedia content was also covered. Information verification was another key area. The speakers emphasized ethics and credibility. Media responsibility during digital transformation was highlighted.
Yazan Ajouz affirmed the course’s objective. It aims to improve journalistic work quality. It also seeks to accelerate information access. The course expands analysis and verification tools.
