Libya recorded average of 9 Coronavirus cases last week

Libya records 692 new cases, 10 deaths of COVID-19

Libya has recorded an average of 9 COVID-19 cases between the 9th and 14th of April, according to a Saturday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC).

An average of one death and 53 recoveries were recorded during the same reporting period, NCDC said.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 50,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 490,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 6,428 people. Over two million people received one dose of the vaccination, while more than one million others were vaccinated with two doses.
