Libya recorded on Tuesday 1,070 new cases of COVID-19, while two people died and 287 others recovered, according to a statement by the National Central for Disease Control (NCDC).
This brings the total toll of recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya to over 196,000 cases since the start of the pandemic, over 179,000 of which have recovered. Death toll of the virus have reached 3,215 in total, while over 38,000 people were vaccinated.
