The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the registration of 724 new cases and 24 deaths of COVID-19.
1,403 people have recovered from COVID-19, NCDC said in a statement on Wednesday.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 348,088, including 68,936 active cases, 274,320 recoveries, and 4,832 deaths, since the pandemic spread in the country in March of last year, according to NCDC.
Number of people who have been vaccinated with first dose against COVID-19 have reached 1,442,286, and 296,760 have received the second dose, NCDC statement pointed out.
