Libya records average of 17 Coronavirus cases in a week

3845 people test positive for COVID-19, 31 others dead in Libya

Libya has recorded an average of 5 COVID-19 cases between the 2nd of July and 7th of July, according to a Monday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC).

An average of 10 recoveries was recorded during the same reporting period, NCDC said. No deaths reported.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 50,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 495,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 6,430 people. Over two million people received one dose of the vaccination, while more than one million others were vaccinated with two doses.
