Tripoli – Libya Telecom and Technology Company announced its systems and networks have been subjected to denial-of-service attacks.
These attacks began last Tuesday. The company confirmed the attacks are still ongoing. The company assured all its subscribers and service beneficiaries. An emergency protocol for such attacks was activated immediately upon detection.
The majority of the attacks’ impact has been contained. This ensures the continuity of essential services. The company explained that its emergency plan remains in effect 24/7. This plan monitors network traffic. It also addresses any new attempts. This is to safeguard the stability, quality, and safety of services provided.
