Libyan Attorney-General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, and Tunisian Ambassador El-Asaad Ajili, discussed last Tuesday the situation of Tunisians imprisoned in Libya, and facilitation of extradition requests, according to a statement by the Attorney-General’s Office yesterday.
The two agreed to cooperate on extradition through a “framework based on a memorandum of understanding that combines the the general prosecutions of both countries.”
They also reviewed ways to “enhance judicial cooperation in criminal matters, including strengthening efforts to address organized crime.”
