Libyan and Italian mayors discuss local governance in Sicily

Libyan and Italian mayors met on Saturday in Siracusa, Sicily to discuss local governance, according to the Italian Embassy in Libya.

“In the magnificent and fascinating city of Siracusa in Sicily, Libyan and Italian mayors are meeting to discuss local governance and best practices with the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI),” the Embassy tweeted.

“An initiative promoted by Italian Foreign Ministry and Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) to strengthen friendship among Italian and Libyan municipalities,” it added.
