Amman –A delegation from the Ministry of Interior of the Libyan government (headed by Osama Hamad) is on an official working visit to Jordan to follow up on the implementation of a security and training memorandum of understanding previously signed with the Jordanian Public Security Directorate.
The discussions focus on activating advanced training programs for Police College cadets, members of the Central Support apparatus, and qualification courses for mid and senior-level leadership within the ministry.
The delegation visited the Jordanian Public Security Directorate and the Royal Police Academy, where they reviewed training curricula and implementation mechanisms. They also discussed ways for joint cooperation and expertise exchange to enhance the professional efficiency of Libyan security agencies.
This step comes as part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to develop the capabilities of its personnel by leveraging regional expertise in police training.
