Libya’s House of Representatives will convene an open session in Tobruk today to discuss the elections after it was postponed last week, said the House spokesman Abdullah Blehaq on Monday.
“We will discuss the report of the Parliamentary Committee regarding the elections, the obstacles it faced, the reports of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), a number of issues related to the elections,” Blehaq told reporters.
This comes after the House and the HNEC abruptly called off the presidential elections two days before its scheduled date on December 24.
