Libyan rival military leaders hold second meeting in Sirte

General Abdel-Razek Al-Nadori, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), and General Mohammed Al-Hadad, the leader of military forces in west of Libya, met for the second time in Sirte today to discuss unification of the country’s military institution as well as removal of foreign forces, Al-Enwan newspaper reported.

Citing unnamed sources, the Libyan newspaper said that there are “ongoing arrangements which aim to withdraw a new batch of foreign fighters.”

Al-Nadori and Al-Hadad met face-to-face for the first time a month ago in Sirte. The bilateral meeting was welcomed by multiple parties, including the United Nations Mission in Libya and the Presidential Council.
