Libya’s 5+5 Joint Military Committee to meet this week in Tunisia

After two months of stalemate, the Libyan 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee will meet again this week in Tunisia to discuss practices related to the dismantling of armed militias and removal of foreign mercenaries and fighters, Italian news agency Nova reported on Saturday.

Citing unnamed member of the committee as the source, Nova said the meeting will take place over the course of two days, on the 7th and 8th of June. Delegates from the U.N. Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) will also be present at the meeting, according to Nova.
