The Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) arrived in Qatar on Monday upon an invitation by the Qatari Shura Council. This is Saleh’s second official visit to Doha.
HoR Member Jebril Oheida said in press statements that Saleh was accompanied by the head of control apparatuses’ committee Adnan Al-Shaab, energy committee Issa Areiby, and the HoR member Idriss Al-Maghraby.
Saleh visited Qatar in September 2022. He discussed at the time with the Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani the situation in Libya, regional and international issues, in addition to boosting bilateral cooperation.
