Tripoli – The General Prosecutor’s Office made an announcement today. The anti-corruption prosecutor’s office arrested the manager of Al-Hadba Agricultural Project. He was detained pending investigation. He is implicated in serious financial irregularities. These irregularities include financial misconduct. Agricultural equipment and machinery were unlawfully traded for a lower-value vehicle. He illegally transferred its ownership to himself.
Additionally, 1.2 million dinars were mismanaged. This sum was allocated for maintaining sewage treatment pumps. The funds were used for purposes other than intended. The General Prosecutor’s Office explained the process. Investigators confronted the accused with the facts. They also presented the relevant laws. The Public Prosecution decided to remand him in custody. He will remain detained pending further investigation.
