Murzuq – The Director of Murzuq Security, Major General Osama Owaidan, held a meeting in his office this Monday morning with notables and elders from the Haj Hijil area, as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between security agencies and social components.
According to the Directorate’s Security Media Unit, the meeting discussed the security situation in the area and ways to enhance stability. A proposal was put forward to establish a permanent security checkpoint within the area to help maintain security and spread reassurance among citizens.
During the meeting, Major General Owaidan stressed the importance of community partnership in supporting security efforts, praising the prominent role of the notables and elders in consolidating stability and building bridges of trust between citizens and security personnel.
