The Libyan Football Association (LFA) announced that the national team will start a training camp in Benghazi on 24 August as part of the preparations for the Angola and Eswatini matches as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The federation revealed the official list of players who will take part in the camp, with Murad Al Wahishi, Moadh Al Mansouri and Ayman Al Tihar in goal.
In the defence, Ali Yousef, Mohammed Al-Shitiwi, Ahmed Saleh, Moadh Al-Amami, Fadel Salama, Abdulaziz Al-Suwayei, Mohammed Al-Agnaf, Mohammed Al-Munir, Subhi Al-Mabrouk and Saif Jaddour have been selected.
The midfield included Abdullah Daqo, Marwan Al Habishi, Mohannad Eto’o, Abdelmoneim Okasha, Osama Al Shuraimi, Imran Salem, Mahmoud Al Shalawi, Mouayed Al Lafi and Noureddine Qalib.
Fahad Al Mesmari, Hamdou Al Houni, Moadh Issa, Ezzedine Al Marimi and Mohammed Sawla round out the frontline.
The camp aims to raise the physical and technical readiness of the players, and achieve the best harmony before the next two rounds of the qualifiers, as the national team seeks to achieve positive results that keep it in the competition for the qualification card for the World Cup.
