Tripoli – The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Saturday that it has received funds from the Ministry of Finance totaling 18.2 billion Libyan dinars as of September 13, 2025, as part of the allocations designated for the oil sector for the current year.
According to a statement issued by the corporation, 14.6 billion dinars were allocated for the purchase of fuel for the Libyan state, about 2.6 billion dinars for salaries in the oil sector through the end of August 2025, and about 1 billion dinars for operational expenses for the year 2024.
The NOC affirmed that it will continue to monitor the disbursement of these allocations to ensure the financial and operational stability of the oil sector and to enhance its role in supporting the national economy.
This announcement is part of the National Oil Corporation’s commitment to the principle of transparency and to the continued publication of data on production, revenues, and expenditures related to the oil sector.
