Chair of the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, confirmed the Corporation’s complete dependence on the Libyan Foreign Bank (LFB) for crude oil sales and importing fuels, and that all transactions and transfers are made only through LFB.
This came on the sidelines of a meeting Sanalla held with LFB Director General, Khaled al-Consul, NOC said in a statement.
For his part, al-Consul expressed his desire to open new horizons for joint cooperation between LFB and NOC, as it is “a distinguished, major, strategic client,” stressing that the Bank’s management appreciates the value of NOC as a partner, according to the statement.
The meeting was also attended by NOC Director of Marketing and External Relations Department, Abdel Moneim Atbiqa, Director General of International Marketing in charge, Naima Al-Sawwan, Director of Commercial Department, Al-Sadiq Bayo, and Director General of Financial Affairs, Abu Al-Eid Salem, and Lutfi Ghaita, the Financial Advisor.
