Libya’s House of Representatives may form a new government to prevent any delay to the presidential and parliamentary elections set for December 24, said Issa Al-Araibi a member of parliament.
After the parliament withdrew confidence from the government today, he told reporters that most of the MPs who voted against the government were from the western and southern regions.
Al-Araibi also said that the interim government was betting on an alliance with a parliamentary bloc to disrupt the vote against it. However, he said this parliamentary bloc reached a deal with other MPs to “bring down the government”.
