Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel Hamid Dbeibeh, addressed the Head of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad al-Sayeh, regarding the Government’s “readiness for any commitments or expenses that the Commission needs in terms of preparing for the elections.”
Dbeibeh stressed the need not to receive any foreign support, saying, “The matter does not require receiving support from any international or local organization to achieve the national elections,” GNU statement said on Wednesday.
