Wadi Al-Shati – The Community and Environment Service and Development Center at Wadi Al-Shati University organized a religious symposium. It was in collaboration with the Community Service and Development Office. The Islamic Studies Department of the College of Education also collaborated. The symposium was titled “Rituals, Etiquette, and Rulings of the Holy Month.” It took place in the theater hall of the late Imhammad Al-Ajaili. This event supported the religious, psychological, and physical aspects of fasters during Ramadan.
The symposium included two valuable lectures. The first lecture was titled “Ramadan, the Month of Goodness, Seize It.” Abdullah Imhammad Ali Juma presented this lecture. He reviewed the virtues of the holy month. He also highlighted the importance of utilizing it for acts of obedience and good deeds. The second lecture was titled “Fasting and its Positive Effects on Human Health.” Ibrahim Saleh Faraj Allah delivered this lecture. He explained the health and psychological aspects of fasting. He also detailed its positive impact on the human body. He shed light on the physical and psychological benefits for fasters.
The symposium saw a distinguished attendance. Participants showed great interaction. They enriched the discussion with their interventions and questions. The atmosphere was spiritual. It reflected the spirit and noble goals of the holy month. The importance of religious guidance was emphasized. Correct knowledge of fasting etiquette was also stressed. This ensures maximum spiritual and health benefits during Ramadan.
