Benghazi – The Libyan Foreign Ministry discussed mechanisms for the success of the “Carnival of Peoples” festival. The discussion occurred during a meeting at the ministry’s headquarters. It aimed to coordinate joint support for international artistic and cultural events.
Minister Abdel Hadi Al-Huweij reviewed organizational plans. He also discussed mechanisms to enhance international participation. Al-Huweij met with a delegation from the festival’s supreme and preparatory committee. Nasser Sawalem chaired the delegation. Artist Kariman Jabr was also present. Several organizing committee members attended the meeting.
The meeting addressed communication methods. These methods target Arab, African, and foreign communities in Libya. The goal is to expand participation. It also aims to highlight the cultural diversity reflected by the festival. Preparations for launching the events were also discussed.
