During the meeting, mechanisms were explored. These mechanisms concern activating ambulance and emergency points at the city’s main entrances. They also discussed organizing the emergency center’s operations. This will enhance the efficiency of medical performance. It will also provide urgent and effective services to citizens.
Attendees emphasized the necessity of coordination. This coordination is among various health authorities. Its purpose is to ensure the readiness of emergency teams. It also aims to enhance medical service levels inside and outside the city. This serves the public interest. It strengthens local health security.
Hassan Salem, the Council’s health portfolio official, attended the meeting. Council member Ali Zawam was also present. Mohieddin Al-Nuwayji, Southern Region Support and Emergency Director, participated. Dr. Faisal Shalaik, Director of Medical Affairs, also attended.
