Sebha – The Sebha Municipal Council announced the formation of a specialized committee. This committee will identify obstacles. It will also identify stakeholders affected by the construction and development work. This work is within the scope of the Batal Al-Obour Bridge project and its facilities. The National Development Authority is implementing this project. It is part of efforts to develop Sebha city center.
The council explained the project’s strategic importance. It aims to significantly improve the city’s infrastructure. It also seeks to enhance traffic flow.
The council noted the project’s implementation requirements. These include widening certain roads. This may necessitate the removal or demolition of some private properties. These properties are located within the project’s scope.
A decision from the Mayor of Sebha Municipality established this committee. The Facilities and Works Department of Sebha Municipality chairs it. The committee will inventory affected obstacles and structures. It will also document data for stakeholders harmed by demolition and expansion. This step paves the way for necessary legal and administrative actions.
The Sebha Municipal Council urged affected stakeholders. Those whose properties are within the project’s scope should visit the Sebha Municipal offices. They should do so during official working hours. This allows them to consult the specialized committee. They can also submit the required data and documents. This process ensures transparent and organized inventory procedures.
