Sebha – The Southern Arms Cultural and Social Forum in Awbari organized an event. It marked the conclusion of a training course. This course was for women with special needs. It covered cooking and household management. The Awbari Women’s Empowerment Office supported the initiative. The slogan was “Skills Make Hope.”
Several officials attended the ceremony. These included Salem Ali Imbarak Hammadi, Dean of the Awbari Municipal Council. Abdulsalam Mohammed Jumaa also attended. He is a Municipal Council member and director of the forum’s special needs office. Amina Abdulwahab Mustafa, Director of Publicity and Media Office, was also present.
The course aimed to improve the skills of women with special needs. It sought to empower them. Participants enhanced their professional abilities. New opportunities for social and labor market integration were opened. This skill development promotes independence and self-reliance.
Participants received detailed instructions. These covered manufacturing methods and ingredient use. Practical, hands-on training was also provided. The course concluded with a special exhibition. Participants displayed their products. This offered a practical chance to apply new skills.
