New York – The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qadirbouh, and his accompanying delegation participated in the second Global Conference on Harnessing Data to Improve Corruption Measurement, held at the United Nations headquarters in New York from December 2 to 4, 2025.
The conference, organized under the auspices of the United Nations Development Programme, the International Anti-Corruption Academy, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, discussed ways to enhance the application of the Vienna Principles and launch innovative tools and data to support member states in measuring and combating corruption using evidence-based methods.
The conference aims to promote peer learning and the exchange of global, regional, and national practices, and to launch the United Nations Global Digital Dashboard for Anti-Corruption, in addition to presenting data from the statistical framework for measuring corruption, and new tools, indicators, and reports to support member states in using evidence-based approaches.
The conference included plenary sessions, technical committees, and round tables, which highlighted digital innovations and methods for measuring corruption in the public and private sectors, measuring institutional performance and illicit financial flows, while opening the floor for participants to exchange national experiences and present innovative tools that enhance transparency and the fight against corruption at the global level.
