Tripoli – The High National Elections Commission announced a new event. It will hold an international scientific conference. The conference focuses on “Issues of Voter Apathy in Libyan Elections.” This event is in cooperation with the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies. The United Nations Electoral Support Team in Libya will also participate.
The Commission clarified this in a statement. Conference activities are set for February 11 and 12. They will be held at the Commission’s Media Center. The conference will discuss challenges to electoral participation in Libya. It aims to provide scientific and strategic solutions.
