The Ministry of Education follows up on the implementation of school activity plans

Benghazi – The School Activities Department of the Ministry of Education held an expanded meeting this Sunday morning at the Ministry’s headquarters, attended by the Director of the Minister’s Office and Diwan Affairs, Abdulhafiz Al-Tarhouni, the Director of the School Activities Department, Rafie Al-Tawerghi, and a number of cluster coordinators from the eastern, western, and southern regions. The meeting was held to follow up on the implementation of school activity plans, evaluate last year’s performance, and review the action plan for the current academic year.

The meeting focused on two main points. The first was an evaluation of last year’s performance, where implemented programs and activities were reviewed, and the main strengths and challenges that faced implementation in various regions were identified, with the aim of developing work mechanisms and improving performance levels during the current year.

The second point was a review of the school activity plan for the current year. The department director stressed the need to adhere to schedules and to activate educational programs and events in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals of school activities, and to develop students’ talents and hone their abilities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Tawerghi stressed the important role played by the cluster coordinators in the direct supervision of the plans’ implementation, calling for all means of support to be provided to ensure their success.

For his part, the Director of the Minister’s Office and Diwan Affairs confirmed the inclusion of a special item within the operational budget of the Education Monitoring Offices, allocated to support the requirements for implementing school activity plans in the various regions.

The cluster coordinators expressed their appreciation and satisfaction with the support provided by the Ministry of Education for the success of the school activity plans, both last year and this year, affirming their commitment to continue working as a team to achieve the desired educational goals.
