Salim Qashout, spokesperson for the National Mobile Force, confirmed that most of the prominent political, military, and social parties in the Western Region have absolutely no desire to ignite a war in Tripoli.
Qashout added in a statement to “Almasar TV” channel that the recent mobilizations and convoy movements are “pulse-taking” operations carried out by some parties to monitor the reaction of other parties.
He pointed out that the actors on the scene and conflict resolution forces are continuing their de-escalation work in the capital, Tripoli.
