The National Oil Corporation and Sonatrach discuss the implementation of advanced training programs

Tripoli – The joint sub-committee held a virtual meeting. It included representatives from the National Oil Corporation and Algeria’s Sonatrach. The meeting aimed to follow up on a memorandum of understanding. This MOU was signed between the two parties. It covers training and knowledge transfer.

The Director General of Training, Development, and Capacity Building chaired the meeting. He also serves as the committee chairman for the National Oil Corporation. Attendees included the Director of Training Department. The Director of the Technical and Administrative Development Center also participated. Several consultants and coordinators from both sides were present.

Discussions focused on launching advanced training programs. These programs include Project Management. They also cover Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). Information Technology Procedures (COPET) were another focus. The discussions also addressed qualifying second-tier staff. Trainer preparation was also included.

This cooperation aligns with the National Oil Corporation’s efforts. NOC aims to enhance the efficiency of its national personnel. This is achieved through partnerships with regional and international experts. This collaboration supports the sustainable development strategy for the energy sector.
