U.S. Embassy discuss its technical support for Libya elections with HNEC

Deputy Chief of Mission for the U.S. Embassy, Leslie Ordeman, and USAID Libya Representative, John Pennell, met in Tripoli on Wednesday with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad al-Sayeh, to discuss continued U.S. technical support for Libya’s upcoming elections, according to U.S. Embassy in Libya.

“As Ambassador Norland regularly emphasizes, the United States supports elections on December 24 to fulfill the LPDF roadmap and to fulfill the expectations of the Libyan people,” Ordeman said.
