U.S. official, Sebha Mayor discuss recent developments in southern Libya

Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Libya, Leslie Ordeman, and Sebha Mayor, al-Shawish Gherbal, has discussed recent developments in the South, the challenges faced by Sebha and other southern municipalities, and ongoing preparations in the region for presidential and parliamentary elections, according to US Embassy in Libya.

“Chargé Ordeman reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to efforts aimed at ensuring voting takes place in a free, fair, and transparent manner,” the Embassy tweeted on Tuesday.
