Stephanie Williams, the United Nations Envoy to Libya, held a meeting today with presidential candidate and former parliament speaker Aguila Saleh, to discuss the elections in Libya.
In a brief statement via Twitter, Williams said she welcomed Saleh’s “commitment for the continuation of the electoral process, including the need for all candidates to respect a level playing field.”
