Mahmoud Sheibib is the Director of the Fund Office. He stated this to the Libyan News Agency on Thursday. The distribution is part of the fund’s “Warm Winter” campaign. This campaign successfully secured over 7,000 blankets. The office has started distributing them to registered beneficiary families.
Sheibib added that the campaign received significant contributions. Donors and philanthropists supported the initiative. Approximately 3,000 families in Benghazi have benefited. The distribution process involved six sub-committees. These committees covered various areas of the city. This ensured aid reached all eligible recipients.
The Director noted the distribution followed recommendations. Committees and social researchers provided these recommendations. Field visits were conducted to eligible families. These visits assessed their situations. They determined eligibility for winter blankets. The Fund is committed to delivering aid fairly and systematically. It ensures aid reaches its rightful beneficiaries.
