UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said Tuesday 174 asylum seekers were evacuated from Libya to Niger with the help of the Emergency Transit Mechanism (ETM) and welcomed at the airport by UNHCR team in Niger.
Nearly 4,000 persons have been evacuated from Libya to Niger since the start of the ETM in Nov 2017, according to UNHCR.
