Benghazi – The draw for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) qualifiers has placed Libya’s representative, Al Ahli Benghazi, in Group (B), with the competitions set to be held in Cape Verde from November 11 to 16.
The group includes Al Ahli Benghazi (Libya), Moanda (Gabon), Technical University (Central African Republic), and Spintex Knights (Ghana).
Al Ahli Benghazi is participating in these qualifiers for the second time in its history, after finishing as the runner-up in the 2024 edition, a historic achievement for Libyan basketball.
The team hopes to continue its strong performance and secure a spot in the final stage, following Al Ahli Tripoli’s success in winning the African championship title in the last edition.
