Al-Nadhuri Discusses With the College of Law the Role of Academic Institutions in Enhancing National Security

National Security Advisor General Abdelrazek Al-Nadhuri held a meeting on Saturday. He met with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Abdul Latif Madi, and the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs. Members of the council’s advisory board were also present.

The meeting addressed the state of law faculties in Libya. They discussed their role in establishing legal security. They also focused on building a stable legislative environment to protect national interests.

Participants discussed the close link between national security and academic legal institutions. They stressed that legal professionals are essential for promoting stability. This is done by supporting security-related laws and regulations. It also involves raising legal awareness through educational programs.

The meeting also covered the role of law faculties in protecting public rights and freedoms. They ensure these rights are exercised within a regulated legal framework. The importance of expanding international cooperation was also noted. This includes participation in legal organizations and agreements. They supported specialized research on national security to aid in decision-making.

At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees affirmed a key point. Legal professionals play a pivotal role in strengthening national security. They safeguard the state’s highest interests through integrated academic, research, and practical work.
