Cairo – Al-Swehli won the Libyan Premier League title for the first time in the club’s history since its founding in 1951, after defeating Al-Nasr in the final held this evening at Cairo International Stadium. The first half ended goalless. Both teams scored one goal each in the second half, finishing regular time 1-1.
The match went to a penalty shootout, where Al-Swehli prevailed. With this win, Al-Swehli captured its first Premier League championship, becoming the champion of the 52nd edition of the Libyan Premier League for the 2025–2026 season. This historic achievement is a new milestone for the club.
