In an interview with Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Al-Tekbali warned of a potential popular explosion. This warning referred to the consequences of the ongoing political stalemate.
Al-Tekbali criticized the performance of the UN mission. He stated that Hanaa Tetteh proposes initiatives she cannot implement. He believed the mission had not offered anything noteworthy.
Al-Tekbali called for the intervention of countries capable of imposing a settlement. This call followed his description of local parties’ inability to find a self-solution.
