Italian Defense Minister Lorenzo Guerini and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar discussed on Tuesday the situation in Libya, among other issues of mutual concern during a meeting in Istanbul, according to the Turkish defense ministry.
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias called on all foreign forces, including mercenaries, to withdraw from Libya, stressing the need to adhere to international law and international water law, especially countries that threaten others with weapons and violence.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his European counterparts on Monday emphasized upon the need to remove all foreign forces out of Libya without delay and to hold the national elections in December on time.
